**PREDI** is the native utility and governance token of the **PredictBase** platform and **PrediBot AI Agent**, playing a crucial role in how the ecosystem operates. **PREDI** was launched through **Virtuals Genesis** on **July 9, 2025**, marking the official start of the PredictBase token economy.

### Utilities

* **Quarterly Buyback & Burn:** 25% of all fees generated by PredictBase platform and PrediBot AI Agent will be used to buy back and burn PREDI each quarter, reducing circulating supply and increasing scarcity.
* **Creator liquidity Support Priority**: Wallets holding higher amounts of **PREDI** receive increased priority for liquidity support. Markets created by higher PREDI holders have a greater chance of being selected for PredictBase liquidity injections, improving creator revenue and delivering a smoother trading experience.
* **Market Creation Discount:** Create a new market on PredictBase using **PREDI** and get 50% off fees. If the fee is paid in **PREDI**, half of it will be **permanently burned**. If the fee is paid in **USDC**, half will be used to **buy back and burn PREDI.**
* **Platform Rewards: PREDI** is used to incentivize platform usage and engagement through **cashback programs** and **weekly reward systems**, driving higher user activity and increasing overall platform revenue.

### Tokenomics

Initial distribution of **$PREDI** is designed to ensure long-term sustainability and community ownership:

* **37.5%: Public Sale** — Available at launch with no vesting
* **15%: Community** — Allocated for user rewards, airdrops, and incentive programs; released as needed.
* **12.5%: Liquidity Pool** — Reserved for protocol-owned liquidity and initial DEX/CEX support
* **11%: Treasury** — Released gradually to fund long-term development
* **10%: Marketing & Growth** — Vested over 12 months to support strategic campaigns and ecosystem growth
* **10%: Team** - Linear vesting over 12 months, starting at token launch
