Creating a market allows you to:
Ask any yes/no or multi-option question
Set the rules and resolution source
Earn 1% of the total volume on your market
Step-by-Step: How to Create a Market
Enter the topic you want to create a market about (e.g., Real Madrid game tomorrow)
Press the AI Generate button
Review the market question, options, and details
Add your image
Add initial liquidity for your market and set option ratios based on the probability of each option (minimum $10).
Sign the market creation transaction
Initial Liquidity
Providing initial liquidity carries risk. While PredictBase may inject additional liquidity to help mitigate potential losses, some or all of your initial liquidity may be lost if market participation is low or one side is heavily favored. By providing liquidity, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
Can’t afford high initial liquidity? No worries! The PredictBase Liquidity Program can inject up to $100,000 per month into user-created markets to help accelerate platform growth. All you need to do is launch a market with a creative idea! However, participation is selective and not guaranteed.
Option Ratios
Option ratios determine the initial odds of each option. We recommend setting them based on the probability you believe each outcome will occur.
Market Image
Including an image makes your market stand out and appear more credible — especially when sharing on social media or featuring in trending lists. It can also increase your chances of being selected for the PredictBase Liquidity Program.
Tips:
Choose a relevant image that matches the market topic:
Crypto prediction → Use a token logo or price chart
Sports market → Use team logos or match banners
Political event → Candidate photos or official logos
Upload high-quality images (JPG/PNG preferred)
Recommended size: 600x600 pixels for best preview
Examples:
“Will BTC close above $70,000 on May 1st?” → Bitcoin price chart
“Will Team A win the championship?” → Team logos
“Will ETH ETF be approved?” → Ethereum logo + SEC banner
